Structure and shape

A YHSPD cable for warships is composed of a conductor, insulator, polyester film tape, braid and jacket, and differs in the number of cores, the array and material of components, etc. depending on items.

Jacket : The outer covering of a cable to maintain a twisted shape of internal wires, protect wires from external chemical or physical effects, and suppress the generation of gases harmful to human bodies during fires

Screening : Protecting wires from external physical effects, and screening EMI Cabling : Twisting many strands of internal wires together in a certain type to improve electrical unbalance, minimize power transmission loss, and improve physical properties such as flexibility, etc.

Wire : A wire to supply electrical signals and power, being composed of pair/triad circular braided wires and unbraided pair/triad wires to screen EMI.
